Kiran Sood

“Leading with Heart, Growth and Purpose”

For Kiran, leadership has always been something natural. Even before having a title or a team, people came to her for help and advice. She enjoyed bringing people together and finding better ways to do things. When she moved to Australia, she became a team leader quite early in her career. Before that, she had spent years observing her leaders, learning from what they did well and deciding how she would do things differently when her time came. Those lessons shaped the kind of leader she is today.

To Kiran, leadership means growth – not only for others but also for herself. She believes in always learning and improving. She has taken leadership courses, joined programs and spent time with inspiring leaders to learn from their experiences. Every challenge and every person she has met has helped her become stronger and wiser as a leader.

A key moment that shaped Kiran’s leadership was when she decided to start her own business. It was a big step – leaving a stable job to build something from scratch. There were difficult days, but she never gave up. That experience taught her that leadership is not about knowing everything; it’s about staying calm, finding solutions and guiding others through challenges.

Kiran’s leadership style is collaborative, supportive and growth-focused. She leads with honesty, empathy and accountability. She believes that good leadership is not about control but about support – helping people feel confident, valued and trusted. For her, a leader’s job is to create more leaders who are ready to inspire others in their own way.

Leading through uncertainty, Kiran stays calm and communicates openly. She believes that honesty and stability help teams stay strong. Her strength comes from her purpose, her family and her team – the people who remind her why she leads.

Today, Kiran is most proud of helping her team grow. Many of them started with little experience and are now confident leaders themselves. Her dream is to leave a legacy of leadership that continues through others – a culture of learning, growth and kindness.

Her advice to the next generation is simple: lead with heart, stay curious and never stop learning.

Leadership, she says, is not about power – it’s about helping others rise while you grow too.
